EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES IN 2007

Happening in Piazza

In collaboration with the Department of Education of the “Castello di Rivoli” Museum of Contemporary Art

The historic centers of Venice, Jesolo, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Padua will host a series of creative-play workshops between June and September that will involve families, kindergarten and elementary schools, summer camps, chance visitors from Italy and abroad in a great collective game that will allow them to experience how engaging contemporary art can be.

 

Contemporary Conversations

In collaboration with Chorus-Cultura Venezia

A series of appointments from June to November in which leading figures in the fields of culture and philosophy will dialogue with the public on issues related to the contemporary.

 

Special initiatives

A part of an interdisciplinary approach involving the Visual Arts and Architecture, Dance and Music sections, the collaboration which began in 2006 with Città di Venezia – Assessorato alle Politiche Educative – Itinerari Educativi of the City of Venice, is reconfirmed in the conception and promotion of the following initiative:

 

Check List Luanda Pop

Africa Laboratory

An interdisciplinary workshop of music and the visual arts will be offered at the Arsenale to understand the African mosaic, the reality, the artistic production and the cultural generosity of its artists. An encounter and dialogue between the languages of non-western art and western expressive codes. Dedicated to second cycle elementary schools and junior high schools.

 

 

Special Project

In collaboration with Trenitalia

Stazioni Contemporanee

A guided tour and creative-play laboratory that travels through the nations…. A journey through the pavilions along the “tracks” that run between the works of art, to discover the languages and techniques used by artists to define their works.
